MY TAKE: ANOTHER DAY OF INFAMY!

Today is more than a sad day for America — it is, as President Franklin D. Roosevelt said after Japan’s sneak attack on Pearl Harbor that fateful morning of December 7, 1941 — today is (another) day of infamy!
No person of any stature, left alone a former President and presumptive official Republican candidate in the coming November elections, has in the entire legal history of the USA been unfairly convicted in any court in the country the way Donald Trump was today. According to leading legal minds from all sides - left, right and center - in the just completed trial of the most vilified ex-President, no crime was established and certainly not any that is "proven beyond reasonable doubt" in order to warrant a conviction like the jury made today. But it was clear from even before the start of this epic drama that just about all players in the NY court beginning with the most-biased judge Juan Merchan to the Trump hating District Attorney Alvin Bragg to the obvious democrat dominated jury, that the man had no chance of even eliciting an iota of doubt in the questionable charges of a "felony for the purpose of planning to commit another crime" which, being political in nature, would be outside of the NY State court's jurisdiction. Both the actors and the system were stacked against him.
After unsuccessful attempts at destroying Trump with the Russia collusion hoax created by Hillary Clinton et al and two impeachments plus charges of "insurrection", the enemies of Trump and by association enemies of the majority of the electorate in this mind boggling episode are gloating for their much sought after victory!
Where does the country go from here? I'd say this marks either the beginning of the end of not just American democracy but the destruction of what the United States is all about or, an even more dramatic turn of events -- i.e., the beginning of national redemption, the re-establishment of lost moral values desecrated by the anti-God elements of the left and the rebuilding of a broken society. As I see it, short of divine intervention the November 5, 2024 elections will be the turning point. Let me point to a wise admonition: "Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14:34 NKJV)
