MY TAKE: MORE DEI FALLOUT

Ford joins the corporate exodus from the negative implications of the liberal/progressive “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” advocacy for the very simple reason that the concept is in actual fact a farce! In the guise of promoting a fair playing field for all kinds of people the DEI philosophy is in reality destroying traditional societal values in favor of — for instance — advancing anti-family anti-science and anti-social agenda of homosexuality, transgenderism, ideology through forced indoctrination in the workplace.


Ford’s CEO Jim Farley wrote a letter (reported on August 29) addressed to all its employees that Ford Motor Company "does not use quotas in hiring and that it prioritizes its resources for business purposes versus publicly commenting on the many polarizing issues of the day”. Farley also informed its employees that Ford "no longer participates in the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index which is an annual survey and report used to gauge policies, practices and benefits pertinent to lesbians, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) employees."


The point in all of these is that the on-going about face among employers is that business enterprises are in business for business purposes and advancing any social agenda is not and should not be a part of their pursuit of profit.
