MY TAKE: THE ARROGANCE OF THE VANQUISHED LIVES ON!

While some level-headed elements of the just-shellacked Democratic Party have begun to come to their senses and are doing a serious soul searching examination quite a number of their peers are bent on pushing an agenda of 'resistance' - whatever that means to them.

Surely one would think they can't mean 'blatant violation of law' but that is exactly what the election boards of several counties in Pennsylvania have decided to do against the State's Supreme Court's ruling on illegal and disqualified mail-in ballots in an ongoing recount.

In a brazen attempt to swing the result of the senatorial contest to favor their Democratic candidate re-electionist Bob Casey despite Republican Bob McCormick having already been declared official winner, these officials do not only publicly admit their crime but they arrogantly brandish it in order for the Court to 'pay attention'! Pay attention?

In reaction, as reported by Fox News, "Trump campaign official Chris LaCivita predicted election officials in Pennsylvania will face jail time for counting mail-in ballots with either incorrect or missing dates after the state Supreme Court previously ruled such ballots should not be counted." It will be interesting to see how these characters will fair vis-a-vis the incoming Trump administration given the unending vicious attacks on the former and future President by these Democratic dogs that went on for more than four long years.

It would be wise to take to heart what the writer of Proverbs16:18 reminds us all of: "P ride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." (ESV)
