MY TAKE: THE WORST VS. THE BEST -- ULTIMATE INSULT MEETS ULTIMATE GRACE

Call it desperation, call it sign of surrender, however it is called there is no justification whatsoever for Biden's characterization of Trump supporters as 'garbage'. It tops Hillary Clinton's own charge of 'deplorables' and 'irredeemables'. Clearly the Democrats have now completely 'lost it'. Truly a very sad indictment of a deceived and grossly misled group of people.

But while the worst in sinful man is in full display here what is more amazing -- nay most amazing, is the unexpected reaction from Donald Trump. By instinctively suggesting that the people should forgive Biden in reaction to the sitting President's vindictive comment former President Trump showed by application what the Lord Jesus Christ immortalized while dying on the cross at Calvary when he cried "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do". (Luke 23:34 ESV)

The underlying message is this: there is more to life than politics. As I believe I alluded to in a previous post I will again invoke an appropriate admonition for us all to think about that is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14 '". . .if My people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
