This is one very good reason why you should not take a politician’s word for something like what Kamala Harris boastfully claimed during her debate with Trump this week: that her economic plan is bolstered by the top and best economic experts and that it's much better than Trump’s. She both highly exaggerated her claims beyond what were actually implied in the report that she referred to and she deliberately played down the policies of Trump which were successfully tested and proven during his time as President.
The contest for the most part boils down to messaging. As in selling a product, packaging and presentation are what make the prospective buyer — in this instance prospective voter — decide to do. That is why one should be careful as in “caveat emptor” which means “buyer beware”.
