MY TAKE: WHAT TRUMP HAD THAT HARRIS DID NOT

In the final analysis, and the list of ‘Monday morning quarterbacking’ is long, the one thing that now President-elect Donald Trump had that Vice President Kamala Harris did not have, was credibility. While on the one hand Harris could not articulate specifically what she planned to do if she won the election, Trump was clear and precise about his agenda.
During the campaign it was painfully obvious that Kamala struggled to lay out her plan much less explain it. Her derided ‘word salad’ responses to questions about it only fogged the issue. The fact of the matter is that she did not in reality have a well thought-out coherent plan at all designed to combat inflation, stop the massive invasion of illegal immigrants, lower crime, bring stability to the world and effectively improve the US economy — everyday matters that most citizens were concerned about.
In fairness to the embattled candidate, that’s the result of her being parachuted down as a last-minute substitute to an erstwhile winner of her Party’s primary, President Joe Biden who was unceremoniously booted out.
In short Harris did not know what to do and, as suggested by Tulsi Gabbard, majority of the people in America saw that and recognized that Harris did not have credibility. In contrast, Trump had one that was borne out of a proven four-year long track record when he was President the first time around. In effect Harris was a victim of a poorly-matched contest.
