MY TAKE: WHATEVER THE OUTCOME, GOD’S WILL BE DONE

Regardless of who wins in today’s election we must accept the result for whether we like it or not, nothing happens by chance — everything is by design. Put another way, it is God’s will and it is consistent with His plan both for each of our individual lives, for our country, and for the whole creation.

Kings and kingdoms, governments and civilizations, people and societies, all come and go but the sovereign divine will of God stays. They’re for reasons much of which we do not understand but overall it is revealed in His written word, the Bible. It is therefore to our benefit to learn and heed what is written and to our peril to ignore and disobey what is declared.

May the peace of God rule in our hearts not only today but each and every single day of our earthly existence!
